This exclusive space allows guests to discover what’s new and explore the endless customization and configuration options to create the Porsche of their dreams!
Led by OpenRoad, in tandem with Porsche, Smart_ envisaged a stunning and engaging pop-up to further enhance the brand’s stellar reputation even further.
Always keen for a challenge, the project boasted a 6-week timeline from kick-off to completion. The Smart_ team worked closely with the OpenRoad and Porsche teams to create an urban feel with a dynamic interior using only sustainable, reusable materials, and items sourced within a 100km footprint.
Driving the guest experience, the space merges eco-friendly elements and luxurious features to create a welcoming and inviting environment.
Careful planning yielded a free-flowing layout encouraging guests to wander and discover, exploring the electric vehicle, e-bike, and merchandise offer. A centrally located coffee bar provides a natural hub, reinforcing the pop-up’s inviting feel.
The blackout storefront provides a sleek backdrop for the iconic Porsche logo. Catching the attention of passersby, the entry portal embodies a gradient effect of the signature Porsche Provence colours. To the left of the entrance, a dynamic configuration of media displays play Porsche media, educating and delighting guests upon arrival. Throughout the space, the design features recycled cardboard tubes to add a rhythmic, eco-friendly design element to the interior walls and millwork. To the right, a custom linework graphic feature wall in the signature Porsche Provence colour adds a layer of humanism to the space. The feature vehicle and e-Bike take center stage, and are surrounded by flexible seating, lounge cubes, and a variety of planting for a biophilic touch.
Recycled cardboard tubes create a dynamic, eco-friendly effect, while tubes line the walls and cover furniture and millwork – turning a recycled item into a high-end design feature. The flooring is made from 100% recycled interlocking rubber tiles that will be removed and reused when the pop-up has run its course – further emphasizing the importance of sustainability. LED track lighting is used throughout the interior paired with cylindrical accent pendant lights that anchor the coffee bar.
