With a mission to spread awareness for healthy eating through tasty yet fulfilling and healthy plant-based cuisine, founder Zak Wallace started Local Green Atlanta.
Smart_ were engaged to assist with conceptual designs for two new Local Green Atlanta locations: a food truck at Disney Springs Orlando and a shipping container restaurant at Quest Commons, West Atlanta.
The Local Green Atlanta food truck concept for Disney Springs exudes a bold personality through eye-catching green graphics and playful messaging. Including food imagery within the truck’s graphic wrap, the brand’s messaging and offerings are clear to customers. Making healthy eating fun, a customized blender bike is included outside of the food truck, allowing kids (and playful adults!) an opportunity to learn how to build their own nutrition-packed smoothies in a way that is both entertaining and physically active.
At Quest Commons West Atlanta, Local Green Atlanta distills its restaurant concept into a compact, shipping container, including wrap-around bar seating, a walk-up takeaway window and rooftop patio seating. Modern and sleek, the shipping container restaurant features black and white tones, natural woods, and accents of brass and green. Focusing on conservation and sustainability, solar panels are included on the roof to power the container unit. Including a blender station, customers can learn how to assemble healthy smoothies through staff demonstrations. Lush greenery is incorporated throughout, creating an oasis in a food desert. Graphic elements wrapping both containers create storytelling, explaining Local Green Atlanta’s background, produce sourcing, healthy eating concepts and ties to the Eat Well Be Well non-profit foundation, fostering community education.
With affordable and nutritious menu selections, Local Green Atlanta hopes to inspire change, advance palates, improve health habits and end food deserts in Atlanta’s Westside and beyond. Eat Better, Live Longer.
